Cinna-bun Cake In The Oven



1 teaspoon vanilla

8 tablespoons butter, unsalted and melted

1 ½ cups of milk

2 eggs

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon baking powder


1 cup soft, unsalted butter

1 cup packed brown sugar

3 teaspoons of cinnamon

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour


⅓ cup of milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 cups icing sugar


Preheat the oven to 350*

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla, butter, milk and eggs.

Mix well with an electric mixer

Spread into a well-greased 9×13 cake pan

In another bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon, mix well

Drop in by spoonfuls, then using a knife, run through the filling mixture and cake batter to incorporate

Bake the cake for 40 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean from the cake batter

Mix the ingredients together for the glaze. Pour this over the hot cake

Let the frosting set before serving this delicious cake.
