Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 ¼ tsp salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped green pepper
8 ounces diced tomatoes, unjuiced
½ cup quick oats
Accompaniement:
⅓ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon of mustard
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375*
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, tomatoes, salt, pepper, onion, green pepper and quick oats
Combine and mix very well
Shape into a loaf and place in a loaf pan to bake
Mix the ketchup, mustard and brown sugar
Spread this mixture on top of the meat mixture
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes
