Homemade Buttercream Frosting


2 tablespoons heavy whipped cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup butter, unsalted and softened

3 cups icing sugar


Using a hand mixer, beat the butter until light and fluffy

Add the vanilla and beat again

Start adding powdered sugar, ½ cup at a time to incorporate without lumps

Add the heavy whipping cream and beat until completely combined

Fill the piping bag and frost your cake or cupcakes
