How to Make Creamy Beef on Toast
This is a dish that has existed for several generations! It was served for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s actually a pretty budget-friendly meal that anyone can make.
Ingredients
8 ounces beef jerky, which you can find sold in jars
2 tablespoons butter, unsalted
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons of flour
½ cup heavy cream
Pepper to taste
Toast, to serve it on
Instructions
Melt the butter in a pan
Once melted, add the flour and using a whisk whisk until everything is incorporated
Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly.
Add the heavy cream, continue to whip
Pepper to taste
Bring to high heat, stirring often to avoid burning
When the sauce is as thick as you want, add the chopped and shredded beef jerky
Reduce the heat and continue to stir to heat through the beef
Serve on toast
