Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 ¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped green pepper
8 ounces diced tomatoes, no juice
½ cup quick oats
Topping:
⅓ cup ketchup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp mustard
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375*
In a large bowl mix together the ground beef, tomatoes, salt, pepper, onion, green pepper and quick oats
Combine and mix very well
Shape into a loaf and place into a loaf pan to bake
Mix together the ketchup, mustard and brown sugar
Spread this mixture over the top of the meat mix
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes
