Lil’ Ham Biscuits

One of my favorite holiday traditions is these ooey, gooey, hot and delicious lil’ ham sliders. Everyone has a version of this recipe, but this one is my go-to. This time of year we’ll serve these for appetizers and for breakfast… a crowd pleaser either way!

Ingredients:

• 1 package sweet Hawaiian rolls
• 1 stick butter melted
• 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire
• 2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 1 Tablespoon dried onion flakes
• 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
• 1lb sliced honey smoked ham
• 1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss & Gruyere cheese blend

Directions:

1.) Prepare grill for indirect cooking at 350 degrees.
2.) Combine melted butter, Worcestershire, Dijon, onion, and poppy seeds in a small bowl.
3.) Slice Hawaiian rolls in half crosswise.
4.) Place bottom halves of rolls on baking sheet and drizzle with half butter mixture.
5.) Layer slices of ham on rolls and top with shredded cheese.
6.) Place the top roll halves over the cheese and drizzle with remaining butter mixture.
7.) Cover the pan with foil and place on the grill for 20 minutes. Remove foil and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes. (if cooking in the oven decrease cooking time slightly)
8.) Cut into individual serving pieces.
