Cinna-bun Cake In The Oven



1 tsp vanilla

8 tbsp butter, unsalted and melted

1 ½ cups milk

2 eggs

3 cups all purpose flour

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tbsp baking powder


1 cup soft butter, unsalted

1 cup packed brown sugar

3 tsp cinnamon

3 tbsp all purpose flour


⅓ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

2 cups confectioner’s sugar


Preheat the oven to 350*

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla, butter, milk and the eggs.

Mix well with an electric mixer

Spread into a well greased 9×13 cake pan

In another mixing bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, butter and the cinnamon, mix well

Drop by spoonfuls and then using a knife, run through the topping mix and the cake batter to swirl it in

Bake the cake for 40 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean of cake batter

Mix the ingredients together for the glaze. Pour this over the warm cake

Allow the glaze to set before serving this yummy cake.
