Meatloaf-Philly Cheesecake Style

Ingredients

1 large chopped onion

1 large green bell pepper, cut into small pieces

¼ cup Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 large eggs

2 pounds ground beef, lean

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup grated provolone cheese

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350*

Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the green pepper and onion

Place peppers and onion in a bowl, add milk and ground beef, breadcrumbs and seasonings

Mix with your hands until well incorporated

Grease the bottom and sides of a cake tin

Add half of the meat mixture and top with 4 slices of cheese

Spoon the remaining meat mixture over the cheese

Bake for 30 minutes

Remove from the oven and add the rest of the cheese on top

Bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese melts and bubbles.

Set aside and let rest before slicing
