CHOCOLATE & COCONUT CLEMENTINE Bites

You already learn about chocolate-covered strawberries, however have you ever tried chocolate-dipped oranges?

Elements

  • 2 clementines
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ tsp coconut oil or a couple of sprays of coconut oil spray (elective)
  • coconut flakes or sea salt

Preparation

  1. Place parchment sheet on a reducing board or baking sheet.
  2. Peel the clementines.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the chocolate chips and coconut oil. I did a couple of sprays of coconut oil spray. Microwave for about 30 seconds, and stir. Microwave for added 15 second intervals as wanted. 
  4. Dip every clementine slice midway into melted chocolate, and place on parchment paper-lined reducing board. Sprinkle with coconut flakes or sea salt instantly. Repeat with the remainder of the clementine slices. 
  5. Put reducing board in fridge, and refrigerate for about 10 minutes or till chocolate has hardened.
