Ingredients
6 pork loin chops, trimmed
2 eggs, beaten
4 tablespoons of water
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons of salt
2 teaspoons of black pepper
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 ½ tablespoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon nutmeg
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon thyme
Sauce:
4 garlic cloves, freshly minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 cup of honey
¼ cup soy sauce
1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg, ginger, sage, thyme and cayenne pepper with the paprika and whisk well.
In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the water and mix
Dip each pork chop in flour mixture, then in egg mixture, and again in flour mixture.
Press down to make sure the flour and spices adhere to the glaze.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with 2 tablespoons of canola oil
Brown the pork chops 5 to 6 minutes on each side
Drain on a wire rack
In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, honey, soy sauce and pepper
Mix well to be sure everything is blended
Once drained of excess fat, dip each pork chop in the garlic-honey sauce
Place on a plate and serve with your favorite side dish.
